Maternity Leave

Dearest Practice Members,

With the news of expecting my first child in May, my husband Dr. Carl Moe and I have decided to make several changes in our lives to ease the transition into parenthood. We have decided to sell our Redmond office, which was the location Dr. Carl Moe was the chiropractor at and enjoyed serving at for the last 4 years. This practice will remain Tree of Life Chiropractic for the next 10-12 Months (though they are no longer affiliated) as Walt Scott D.C. transitions it over into his own brand. Dr. Carl Moe and I will be joining forces together in the Seattle location where I have been the primary chiropractor up until now.

You may have met Dr. Carl as he has been here recently starting to learn each person’s family and case. If you haven't, he is a bubbly bright funny guy who loves taking care of families just as much as I do. He has the same education when it comes to pediatric and prenatal/postnatal care as I do and you will be in excellent hands when the time comes to pass the baton off during maternity leave.

My anticipated plan and timeline for maternity leave will be as follows:

April- Reduced hours of adjusting (Dr. Carl will be covering the other portion)

May- I will no longer be adjusting patients and will be in and out of the office just to check on things. Dr. Carl will be here full time serving your families

June-July I will be on Maternity leave and Dr. Carl will be here on a full time basis

My anticipated date of return is August 1st. As many of you know, everybody's journey through labor, delivery and postpartum recovery are different and so this is an estimate of timeline subject to change pending healing.

I hope you all will find comfort in knowing as we go through these changes you are in the best possible hands to continue your care here in the office. Dr. Carl will be doing the same day to day procedures as well as styles of adjusting to make you all as comfortable through this transition as possible.

Prenatal and Postnatal bonding is very important to me and I look forward to being able to focus in on the health of myself and baby in the coming weeks and months and can't thank you enough for your love and support through this time. I look forward to showing off our baby girl to you all very soon!!

If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to ask!

Be blessed,

Dr. Chelsea Moe
